Schaumburg police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 9:12 p.m. to a car vs. semi-trailer truck crash at Higgins Road and West Frontage near Route 53. Police reported a blue Lexus with heavy damage, but the driver possibly out walking around. No report of injuries to the truck driver. At least two people were transported to Alexian Brothers Medical Center, Elk Grove Village.
Police closed southbound West Frontage and some lanes of eastbound Higgins.
