VIDEO: Double extrication crash for two-car head-on crash at Lake Cook Road and Raupp Boulevard in Buffalo Grove.
Buffalo Grove police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:27 p.m. to a report from a buffalo Grove public works employee of a major crash at Lake Cook Road and Raupp Boulevard. Police were on the scene within a minute and reported possible entrapment. Police immediately shut down Lake Cook Road in both directions.
A male driver was pinned in a silver Dodge Stratus. A female was pinned in a red car. The female driver was also entrapped in her vehicle. She was freed first and transported by Buffalo Grove firefighter/paramedics to Northwest Community Hospital.
The second driver was extricated about 1:03 p.m. and transported to Northwest Community Hospital by Arlington Heights Fire Department firefighter/paramedics.
Buffalo Grove police accident investigator(s) were called to the scene.
Lake Cook Road westbound lanes were reopened about 2:26 p.m. Saturday. Lake Cook Road eastbound lanes were reopened about 2:58 p.m. Saturday.

Sure hope everyone survived. Crash was horrible. Drove by westbound just is they were loading wrecked cars onto truck.
