Currently the only exits from the Northwest Community Hospital campus are located on Central Road. Entrances exist at those south exits and at the northwest corner and the northeast corner of the campus aligned with Ridge Avenue.
The exits on the north side are problematic because they are angled intersections and they facilitate dumping of traffic onto northbound Ridge Avenue. Neighbors north of Kirchhoff Road area concerned about the risk of increased crashes along Kirchhoff Road and increase traffic hazards to children at Pioneer Park, Westgate School, Our Lady of Wayside School, and on side streets in the area.
