Arlington Heights police received a report about 8:55 a.m. Wednesday of a vehicle burglary in the 2200 block of North Champlain Street. Police received a report that an unlocked black 2006 Buick Rendezvous was burglarized. A red Coach wallet, driver’s license, debit car and Apple iPhone 4 were stolen from the vehicle. Northwest Arlington Heights neighborhoods have experienced numerous burglaries recently.
Arlington Heights police received a report about 7:23 a.m. Thursday of vehicle burglaries in the 1600 block of Woods Drive. Police received a report that a 1997 black BMW, a 2007 black Ford Focus, 2011 black Nissan Rogue, and a 2012 black Honda CR-V were burglarized.
Recent vehicle burglaries (the past week) have also been reported about 1.5 miles northeast in the 800 block of West Nichols Road, and about two miles north in the 4000 block of Newport Lane.
Many of the vehicles burglarized have been unlocked.
