Substance Sprayed on Maple Tree Kills Tree and Grass on South Newbury Pl, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report of criminal damage to property in the 600 block of South Newbury Place. Police received a report that an unknown substance was sprayed on a newly planted Maple tree valued at $1,000. The tree and grass surrounding the tree were killed.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Friday, April 20 at 8:00 a.m. and Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 3:00 p.m.
