Rolling Meadows Firefighter/Paramedics Rescue Sick Son in Family’s Broken Down SUV

Rolling Meadows police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:20 a.m. Sunday to a report of an unconscious person in a gray Jeep Grand Cherokee near Euclid Avenue and Wilke Road. Emergency responders received a report that a family’s male son was being transported with an illness to Northwest Community Hospital when the family’s Jee Grand Cherokee. The vehicle broke down and the son lost consciousness. There was a language barrier between the caller and the 9-1-1 center. The male was reported to be either 15-months-old or 15-years-old.

Rolling Meadows firefighter/paramedics transported the victim to Northwest Community Hospital with a full crew for Advanced Life Support.
