Mount Prospect police received a report about 5:55 p.m. Tuesday of a theft from Walmart, 930 Mount Prospect Plaza. Police received a report that a male stole alcohol and fled in a red PT Cruiser — last seen near Mount Prospect Road. The offender was described as a male/black, wearing a black hoodie and black shorts.
