Arlington Heights police responded about 11:08 a.m. Wednesday to a suspicious incident in the 800 block of North Chicago Avenue. Police received a report that a neighbor possibly attempted to poison a resident’s dog. A bag of white substance was found in the resident’s yard. Arlington Heights police are investigating.
