Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics and Arlington Heights firefighter/paramedics responded about 2:25 p.m. to a report of a fire in a townhouse laundry room at 2160 Oak Brook Circle in Palatine. Firefighters received a report that the fire was spreading with high winds in the area.
Firefighters quickly stopped the fire, and reported no extension from the laundry room, but possibly extension up a laundry vent.
Firefighters were also possibly working on a fire on the second floor in another part of the building — not confirmed.
