Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics were on the scene about 6:15 p.m. Wednesday for a crash involving a light pole across the expressway exit ramp from northbound Route 53 to eastbound Palatine Road.
A crane will be necessary to move the large expressway light pole. IDOT is responding to the scene. Expect traffic delays and lane blockage in the area.
Apparently minor injuries at the crash.
