Rolling Meadows responded about 12:22 a.m. Thursday to a report of an armed robbery with a battery victim at the Mobil station at Hicks Road and Euclid Avenue in Rolling Meadows. Police received a report that two offenders robbed the gas station and at least one of the offenders struck the employee.
The offenders were described as two male blacks — “younger.” Both were wearing black jackets. One of the subjects displayed an unknown type of handgun and struck the employee with the handgun. The subjects fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.
