Arlington Heights police received a report about 2:59 p.m. Tuesday of a possible Gypsy/ruse scam in the 1300 block of West Sunset Terrace. Two male/Hispanics attempted to get the homeowner outside to look at his roof. The homeowner refused and the two male/Hispanics left in a silver SUV.
The suspicious activity was reported to have occurred about 2:50 p.m. Tuesday.
