New snowfall for Chicagoland area and Arlington Heights, Friday March 2, 2012
Less than 0.5 inch of snow fell in Arlington Heights from about 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday. The event was much less than the forecast listed with the Winter Weather Advisory. No snow accumulated on pavement. The snow was pellet-like and left a thin ice crust.
