Schaumburg police received a report about 6:25 p.m. Sunday of a battery that just occurred at Dick’s Sporting Goods, 601 North Martingale. Police received a report a male victim was struck in the face by another man during a traffic altercation. The offender fled in a silver Acura. The victim decided he didn’t want to talk to police.
