Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 5:37 p.m. Thursday to a report of a vehicle vs. pedestrian incident at Quentin Road and Peder Lane. Enriquez had apparently run across the four-lane roadway when she was hit. She had no pulse when firefighter/paramedics arrived.
Quentin Road was closed between Northwest Highway and Colfax Street for rescue and investigation.
