Arlington Heights police responded about 12:43 a.m. Friday to a report of a burglary in progress in the 400 block of Happfield Drive. Police received a report that a man with a gray hoodie and blue jacket. Police received a report that the man used a slim Jim to get inside the vehicle.

Police arrived and learned that a towing company was repossessing the vehicle. Police confirmed the repo with the the front desk log for repossessions.
