Authorities in Cincinnati say at least 11 people have been taken to hospitals with minor injuries from a partial collapse at a casino under construction. A floor apparently collapsed as concrete was being poured in the facility known as the Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati.
The Horseshoe Casino issued a release Friday morning reporting that a single, 60-foot-by-60-foot bay on the second floor of the facility collapsed as concrete was being poured about 7:45 a.m.
None of the injuries are reported to be life threatening: 10 were taken to University Hospital, two to Mt. Airy Hospital, two to Good Samaritan Hospital and one to Bethesda North Hospital.
