Cook County Sheriff police alerted area police departments that an armed robbery of an American Taxi occurred about 2:11 a.m. Friday at Bonhill Drive and Nichols Rd. The offenders were described as three male/black subjects. Another description reported two male/black subjects, both wearing black jackets and knit hats. One of the male/black subjects used a red bandana to cover his face.
No word on any arrests, but Cook County Sheriff and Arlington Heights police were searching the area.
