Rolling Meadows police responded about 7:22 p.m. Tuesday to a report of a retail theft in progress at Meijer, 1301 Meijer Drive. Police received a report that four subjects were suspected of stealing BB guns from the store. Two subjects were running across the parking lot and two subjects were still in the store.
Subjects were described as (#1) male/unknown light skinned, shaved head, black jacket, light sweat pants; (#2) red hoodie; (#3) tan hoodie; and (#4) male/white teen, gray sweat pants and black fleece top.
Police received an update at about 7:24 p.m. that the subject with the red hoodie had just walked out of the store.
The first to suspects fled east toward an industrial building. The second two with the red hoodie and the tan hoodie were walking across the parking. The red hoodie and white(tan) hoodie suspects were in custody about 7:27 p.m. near the Midas business.
No word on charges or arrest. No word if merchandise was recovered. The other two subjects may have fled in an unknown vehicle.
Arlington Heights police assisted Rolling Meadows police searching the area.
