Arlington Heights police responded about 11:41 p.m. Friday to a report of a suspicious male in the area of Chicago Avenue and Maude Avenue. Police received a report that a male subject was checking car doors in the area. A resident followed the subject and updated police on his location. Police caught up with the subject near Maude and Harvard Avenue.
Police investigated the 18-year-old male subject for warrants and criminal history. He was not wanted. No word on any arrest or charges.
