Arlington Heights police received a report about 3:37 p.m. Thursday of a theft of an phone from a wall display at the AT&T store, 585 East Palatine Road. After investigation police learned that the theft occurred about 3:15 p.m. Thursday. Five offenders — three males and two females — were described as Middle Eastern, 35-years-old and wearing black pea coats.
Male (#1) was described in detail as Middle Eastern, 35-years-old, 5’11” 200 LBS, black hair with gray streaks, and a black 5 o’clock shadow, wearing a black Pea Coat, gray dress pants and a gray and black scarf.
Male (#2) was described as Middle Eastern, 35-years-old, about 5’11” 175 LBS, wearing professional dress clothing including a black black Pea Coat.
Male (#3) was not described.
Both females had black hair and were wearing black skirts and black Pea Coats.
The offenders fled in a dark blue newer model minivan. The offender took three Apple iPhones.

Arlington Heights AT&T store Innovation Center’s U-verse wall at the former Gap Store at Palatine Road and Rand Road.
The AT&T Innovation Center at 585 East Palatine Road is over 10,000 square feet with wall lined with phones, a U-verse display and large touch screens. The store is reported to have about 40 employees to help customers with hands on experience. An Experience Room is planned to open in January to try out various high-tech devices.
