Rolling Meadows police responded about 9:29 p.m. Saturday to a report of a wedding fight at Meridian Banquet, 1701 Algonquin Road. Police received a report that chairs were being thrown. Arlington Heights police were called for backup. Rolling Meadows police arrived and reported two males with their shirts off in the front lobby. Police also requested paramedics for a woman in distress. Arlington Heights police arrived immediately to back up Rolling Meadows.
Arlington Heights firefighter/paramedics assisted Rolling Meadows firefighter/paramedics. A second rescue-ambulance was called to the scene, but did not transport a victim to the hospital.
At least one person was transported to Northwest Community Hospital.
No word on charges or arrests available.
