Buffalo Grove police responded about 4:38 a.m. Wednesday to a burglar alarm at the Smoke Hut, 1140 West Lake Cook Road. Buffalo Grove police arrived within two minutes and reported a side window broken. Police reported that it appeared that the window was broken and the cash register was removed.
