Schaumburg police responded about 6:36 p.m. Thursday to a report of a theft of purse at Marshalls, 1488 East Golf Road. Police received a report that an unknown offender took a purse from a shopping cart between 6:30 p.m. and 6:35 p.m. Thursday.
No word on whether the area was under video surveillance. Schaumburg police are investigating.
