Schaumburg police responded about 5:34 p.m. Saturday to a report of a strong arm robbery at a hair salon in the 1100 block of North Salem Drive. Police received a report that a man came into the hair salon and took a woman’s purse.
The offender was described as a male/black in his late 20’s with a tall and thin build, wearing a black hat, black jacket and jeans.
Schaumburg police are investigating. Police are possibly re-classifying the crime as a theft.
