Mount Prospect police responded about 9:53 p.m. Wednesday to a report of an unknown problem at Timberlake Apartments, 1434 South Busse Road. Police arrived on the scene and determined from a Spanish-speaking victim that there was a strong arm robbery. A female victim was robbed of her purse and an Apple iPod.
The offenders were described as two male/Hispanic subjects aged 12-13, one 5′ tall and one possibly 5’4″ tall, both thin builds. Both were reported to be wearing all black hoodies, pants and shoes. The subjects fled westbound toward John Jay School.
Arlington Heights police immediately and automatically stood by at the west perimeter near the scene.
