Buffalo Grove police responded about 12:20 am. Friday, November 18, 2011 to a report of a suspicious person near the Burger King, 80 North McHenry Road. Police received a report from a female that she was being followed by a dark-colored four-door sedan driven by a male. After recognizing the following by the male driver, the woman stopped, and the man’s vehicle also stopped. She drove next to the man’s vehicle and asked the driver what he wanted. The driver stated he wanted to hang out with her and smoke weed. The woman then drove away and called 9-1-1 about 20 minutes later. The license plate provided by the woman does not register with the Illinois Secretary of State. Police searched the area for the vehicle, but did not find any vehicle matching the description.
