Schaumburg police received a report about about 10:43 a.m. Sunday of a burglary in the 1000 block of North Hickory Avenue. Police received a report that a door to the house was open.
Police arrived and discovered that the door was kicked in and the house was ransacked. An Evidence Technician was called to the scene.
