Mount Prospect police responded about 8:38 p.m. Friday to a report of a strong arm robbery in the front of the Alpine Apartments building, 1510 West Dempster Avenue. Police received a report that a woman was robbed of her purse while her elderly husband was pushed down to the ground.
The offenders were described as two male/Hispanics, about 5’3″, wearing black hoodies that were last seen headed toward Busse Road.
Police contacted some males that matched the description in the area, but there was not any word on arrest of any of the subjects.
