Mount Prospect police received a report about 9:19 p.m. Sunday of vandalism in the 0-99 block of South William Street. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offender shot a paintball gun at the front door of a home. The gun was possibly shot out of a vehicle, but no vehicle description was immediately available.
