Arlington Heights Fire Station 2 (October 20, 2000).
Arlington Heights is scheduled to hold its annual Arlington Heights Fire Department Open House on Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Arlington Heights Fire Station 2, 1150 N. Arlington Heights Road.
The Open House is held in conjunction with Fire Prevention Week, which runs from October 9-15. This year’s theme for Fire Prevention Week is “Protect your Family from Fire.” Some of the best ways to protect your family from fire is to make sure everyone in the family is familiar with smoke alarms and home fire escape planning.
Some of the activities planned at the Open House include special Fire Department team demonstrations, displays of fire equipment, and a visit from “Sparky the Fire Dog,” face painting, button creations and important fire safety handouts. Get a close-up view of all that the Fire Department does to help keep your family and our community safe.
