Elk Grove Village police responded about 6:35 p.m. Wednesday to a report of youths with fake guns in the 100 block of Boardwalk. Police received a report that youth, about 12-years-old wearing Halloween masks, were pointing fake, plastic guns at passing motorists. The guns were reported to be different colors. No word on police contact with the subjects.
