Arlington Heights police responded about 11:24 a.m. Wednesday to a report of a vehicle burglary that just occurred in the parking lot of Town & Country in front of Dominick’s — a short distance from where police were investigating a retail theft.
A man burglarized a gold Toyota and fled in a silver 4-door, newer model sedan. The suspect was described as a male/white, 5’8″ 140 LBS, late 20’s to early 30’s with dirty brown wavy hair, wearing a pale green short sleeve shirt. Missing from the victim’s car is mail that contained written checks.
The suspect was last seen in his vehicle on eastbound Palatine Road from Town & Country.
Illinois State Police gave out the message with a description of two male/black subjects — not sure of the discrepancy involved with that message. Police were not certain, but were investigating whether the two crimes — the Walgreens retail theft and the vehicle burglary — were related.
Not all suspect information confirmed for the two cases. Also no confirmation whether the two crimes or offenders in the crimes might have been related.
