Video: Crash scene at Palatine Road and Kennicott Avenue.
Arlington Heights police and firefighter paramedics responded about 9:29 a.m. Thursday to a three-car crash with injuries at Palatine Road and Kennicott Avenue. At least one person was transported to Northwest Community Hospital.
The crash involved an older model red Ford Mustang, a gold Chrysler Pacifica, and minivan that appeared to have possibly been hit while waiting at a red light.
Later police received a call for help to check on the well-being of a woman who stopped her silver BMW at Kaspar and Maude, just south of the crash scene. When police arrived they called for paramedics to respond to help the woman, but the woman began running west on Maude and then north on Kennicott. She ended up running all the way to the crash scene, where she sat down on the grass near the crash scene.
Buffalo Grove firefighter/paramedics responded to help the woman who ran to the crash scene. No word on whether she was transported to the hospital.
