Arlington Heights police received a report about 8:24 p.m. Wednesday of a theft that just occurred at Vik Nail Salon, 2304 East Rand Road. Police received a report that a male subject walked into the salon and walked out with a handbag without paying for it. The man fled southbound on Rand Road and then headed toward Brandenberry Park Condo/Apartments.
The subject was described as a male/black with a “skinny build” wearing a gray sweatshirt/sweatsuit and dark gray baseball hat.
