Severe thunderstorm watch #829 and the Flood Advisory for Saturday has been canceled for the entire Chicago Metro area. A Rip Current Statement is still active Sunday.
Radar images show that the precipitation, while persistent and covering a wide area, has diminished. Originally about two inches of rain were forecast for Saturday night.
Storms were more severe in Indiana and Michigan were Michigan, Western Michigan games were ended late in the third quarter, and Notre Dame’s game was delayed twice for a total of about two hours.
