Mount Prospect police alerted area police officers about 12:55 a.m. Friday of a stolen auto from Pap’s Ultimate Bar & Grill 1904 South Elmhurst Road near Elmhurst Road and Algonquin Road. Taken was a red Chrysler Town & Country minivan. License plate on the minivan is reported to be Illinois number 600 2232. The vehicle also has an Elk Grove High School Football sticker and a Ron Jon surf sticker attached to the vehicle — presumably the rear window.
The crime is reported to have occurred between 2230 and 12:53 a.m. Apparently no signs of forced entry to the vehicle, and the keys may have been stolen first.
