Flight search is a feature that helps you explore air travel options for a number of cities, and plan your trip with just a few clicks of the mouse.
Google released Flight Search on Tuesday. Google Flight Search has a pleasing interface that helps users find deals on flights, with an easy way to find cheaper flights by changing the dates. You can slide varying date ranges on a calendar and watch the rates change.
The key features are a calendar interface and a map interface for finding flights with results that update instantly, according to Google.
When you open Google Flight Search, you see a map of the United States with your departure location set by default to your current city (Currently Flight Search seems to be made for domestic flights only). You can choose your destination from a drop-down menu or click on destinations conveniently labeled with the city name and the cheapest round-trip airfare Google can find to get you there and back again.
No mobile version of Google Flight Search at this time.
Google purchased ITA Software, a maker of air travel flight-information software for major airlines and online travel agencies, in July 2010.

I just checked my regular destinations and saw crazy high prices! I’ll stick to Priceline when needed.
