Mount Prospect police responded about 6:57 p.m. Friday to a report of shots fired in the 1100 block and 1200 block of Boxwood. Police received a report that gang members were shooting at each other in the neighborhood. Subjects in a white Ford Escape and white or light-colored Jeep Cherokee were reported to be shooting at other. One or both vehicles were last seen heading toward Wheeling Road after making several passes in the neighborhood.
No reports of any injuries.
