Arlington Heights police received a fireworks complaint about 9:40 p.m. Sunday in the area of Palatine Road and Kennicott. The Buffalo Grove Day fireworks finale and ended about 9:38 p.m. Sunday — a long and loud display.
Local fireworks also reported in the 1700 block of North Walnut Avenue.
Palatine police also received a fireworks complaint in the same time frame.
