VIDEO: Extrication after crash of Ford sedan with a semi-trailer truck that caused a rollover.
Buffalo Grove police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 9:20 a.m. Friday to a report of a car vs. a semi-trailer truck near the intersection of Dundee Road and Cambridge Drive. Firefighters arrived and reported a vehicle upright with moderate damage and a semi-trailer truck with minor damage. A witness had reported that the car was traveling eastbound and ended up in the westbound lanes of Dundee Road. The vehicle was also facing westbound in its resting position.
Firefighter/paramedics extricated a female victim within 20 minutes and transported the victim to Northwest Community Hospital.
Dundee Road was blocked in both directions during the crash, but was cleared in both directions by about 10:10 a.m. Friday.
