Palatine police responded about 6:16 p.m. Wednesday to a report of two adult shoplifters at Dominick’s, 615 East Dundee Road. Police received a report that a female was in custody in handcuffs with loss prevention staff, and a male was outside talking with another security official with Dominick’s. The male fled in a beige, newer model Honda Civic before police arrived.
Possibly one female transported in custody to Palatine Police Department Headquarters — not confirmed.
