Buffalo Groves police received a report about 4:30 p.m. Friday of suspicious persons going door-to-door on the 800 block of Merseilles Circle. Police received a report that three or four male/Hispanics got out of a black 4-door vehicle. They were wearing black shirts, jeans, black gloves and black baseball hats.
The suspects said they were working for the Village of Buffalo Grove, and said they were doing planting and fencing. The resident called the Village of Buffalo Grove to inquire about the work, and the official said that the village did not have people working in the area.
