Arlington Heights police responded about 4:10 p.m. Wednesday to a fight in progress behind the Wingate by Wyndham, 2112 South Arlington Heights Road. Police then received a report that a man had walked out of the hotel and was attacked by a man who jumped out of the bushes. Police alerted area police officers of a subject wanted for battery. The offender is described as male/black mid-40’s 6’1″ 200 LBS, wearing a white, T-shirt, blue jeans, a blue-and-white visor type hat and sunglasses. The offender was last seen heading southbound on foot from the Wingate by Wyndham hotel.
The victim reported he is familiar with the offender.
