Arlington Heights police received a report about 10:25 a.m. Tuesday of a hit-and-run crash in front of 11 West Hawthorne Street. Police received a report that the driver of a gold Chevy Venture, older model, left the scene after hitting a parked car. The driver fled eastbound Hawthorne, and then northbound on Arlington Heights Road. The vehicle should have blue paint transfer and damage on the passenger side.
The driver was described as an elderly/white subject, unknown gender. No injuries reported.
