Prospect Heights firefighter/paramedics and police responded about to a dryer fire in a hotel laundry room at the Executive Plaza Hotel, 1090 South Milwaukee Avenue. Firefighters reported they had a working fire. The fire was extinguished in a short time period. Firefighters from Wheeling, Glenview, Arlington Heights assisted Prospect Heights firefighters. An Arlington Heights Fire Department rescue-ambulance responded to a report of a person with smoke inhalation. No word on whether that person was transported to the hospital.
