Arlington Heights police received a report about 10:15 a.m. Tuesday that a hair salon was burglarized in the 1100 block of South Arlington Heights Road. Police received a report that a front glass door or window was discovered smashed when staff or owners arrived for work. Arlington Heights police called an evidence technician to scene.
