The car, a silver 2002 Honda, was apparently eastbound on Camp McDonald Road and may have left the roadway just west of Maple. I apparently traveled about 60 yards along the front yard, grazing one tree, before hitting another tree with heavy impact. The impact split the car in half with the rear of the car resting on the lawn on the west side of the residential property. The front of the vehicle continued eastbound and stopped on the east side of the property. It may have grazed the house. The front of the vehicle was resting against a flag pole that was tilted by the crash.
One victim, a male, whose condition is unknown at this time, was transported to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital.
