Arlington Heights police received a report of a theft of delivered packages from the 700 block of East Park Street. An unknown offender or offenders removed two packages from the front porch that were scheduled for USPS pick-up. The packages contained four Direct TV receivers and four remote controls with a total value of $642.00. The packages were labeled with self-addressed Direct TV return labels.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Wednesday, June 1st, 2011 between 9:00am and 3:00pm.
