Arlington Heights and Buffalo Grove police took several reports for property damage hit-and-run crashes for the start of June 2011. At about 7:00 a.m. Wednesday Arlington Heights police received a report that a BMW was hit by a vehicle in the 3300 block of North Arlington Heights Road. The victim gave possible offender information to police.
Buffalo Grove police received a report about 8:15 a.m. Wednesday of a hit-and-run crash on Milwaukee south of Deerfield. The offending vehicle was reported as a dark green Plymouth Voyager that was last seen westbound on Deerfield.
Arlington Heights police received a report about 12:05 p.m. Wednesday of a hit-and-run in the 100 block of north Evergreen Avenue. A 2006 red Acura was hit by an unknown offender.
Police were looking for an hit-and-run offending vehicle about 12:30 p.m., but the case details were not specified in the alert broadcast to police officers. Police were alerted to be on the lookout for a white conversion van with windows with a pink design on the side. The van should have front-right, passenger side damage. No paint transfer information was reported. The driver is reported to be a female/Hispanic or female/Asian in her 30’s or 40’s. The vehicle was last seen in the area of Northwest Highway and Dunton Avenue.
Buffalo Grove police received a report about 12:25 p.m. Wednesday of a hit-and-run at the Shell station at 1200 North Arlington Heights Road. The offending vehicle was reported to be a 2001 white Ford Explorer. The license plate information for the vehicle was reported to police.
Arlington Heights police received a report about 1:30 p.m. of a hit-and-run in front of Forbici Salon, 7 South Highland Avenue. A silver Honda Accord was struck. Possible offender information was given to police.
A vehicle parked in the 800 block of East Olive Street was also reported hit over the Memorial Day weekend.
